Structural And Civil Engineer in Edinburgh

Zenith are looking to recruit a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to join our engineering team based in Edinburgh.

You'll work alongside our team to provide technical solutions for a variety of projects, including everything from industrial structures to historic buildings.

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities of the role are:

·       Design of steel and reinforced concrete structures in accordance with Eurocodes for predominantly industrial infrastructure.

·       Produce temporary works designs for our inhouse contracting business.

·       Prepare inspection scopes and produce survey reports from site investigations.

·       Carry out site surveys when required.

·       Monitor and mentor graduate engineers and trainee technicians.

Requirements

·       Proficient in the use of structural design software i.

e.

Autodesk Robot, Tekla Tedds etc.

·       Good time management to deliver calculations and reports to project deadlines.

·       Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in the UK construction industry.

·       Excellent communication skills liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.

·       Team player to become an integral part of the engineering team.

·       Full UK driving licence.

·    Chartered or working towards chartership – support will be provided for the successful candidate to attain chartered status if not already chartered.

Qualifications

MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering
