We are looking for a fresh paint Vehicle Polisher to join our busy auto body shop in Chipping Warden, Northamptonshire

The job in a nutshell

Salary: up to £19.00 per hour
4 days off / 4 days on
6am-6pm
Overtime available

Working as a crucial part of the team, you will be a vital part of the autobody shop assisting in a key process of continuous throughput of vehicles whilst meeting daily targets set within our refurbishment depart. You will be involved in all aspects of oven rectifications on a variety of new and nearly new cars and must be able to do all aspects of Polishing.

Day-to-day activities will involve:

Undertake the exterior polishing of vehicles using the correct materials and tools
Carry out touch in’s where needed or required
Prioritize work efficiently to meet deadlines ensuring awareness of urgent vehicles and due out dates
Ensure there are no defects in work produced
Adhere to all requirements for hazardous or non-hazardous waste disposal
Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements for a Vehicle Polisher

Must be able to do all aspects of polishing work
Polishing out runs and blemishes
General polishing on cars to a high standard
Bodyshop Polish experience is essential
A good and thorough understanding of the vehicle refurbishment repair process

This role offers invaluable, long-term experience working within a busy autobody shop company. The polisher will be able to work lots of overtime.
