Proactive Personnel are recruiting for a Warehouse Manager for a client based in the DA17 area.

The ideal candidate needs to be an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee the daily operations of the warehouse.

You will require strong organisational and leadership skills, and a proven track record in warehouse management.

Duties:

  • Responsible for managing inventory
  • coordinating logistics
  • optimizing warehouse processes
  • leading a team to ensure efficient and effective operations

    • Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of warehouse operations,
  • Receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
  • Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes to maximise productivity and minimise errors.
  • Manage inventory levels to meet customer demand and minimise stock outs.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
  • Hire, train, and supervise warehouse staff
  • compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Speak with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders to optimise logistics.
  • Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and manage orders.
  • Analyse data and generate reports to measure warehouse performance.

    • Skills:

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
  • Analytical mind-set with problem-solving capabilities.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Effective communication skills.

    • Key Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Familiarity with warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Proficient in the use of warehouse management systems.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts as needed.

    • Pay:

  • £40k DOE

    • Hours:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 08:00 – 17:00
