We’re now going through a period of rapid growth, and our UK sales organization is looking for a business development representative located in our UK office to further scale our team.

Reporting to our Business Development Manager, the successful business development representative will be responsible for specific revenue-generating activities for the business in the EMEA region. This includes supporting new sales initiatives and revenue generation from new and existing clients through the sale of syndicated market intelligence reports, custom research, and consulting.

What You'll Do

New Business Development

  • Manage assigned sales activities for Interact Analysis in the EMEA market. This includes developing and implementing sales plans for assigned business sectors within the EMEA market and achieving these targets on an annual basis.
  • Responsible for managing assigned clients.
  • Identify potential new targets, key contacts, and work closely with analysts to drive sales.
  • Utilize consultative selling approach to identify a prospect’s business issues and strategic initiatives.
  • Build strategic relationships with senior level client contacts to develop strategic business insights regarding the clients’ most important business issues.
  • Understand the dynamics of each client’s organization and penetrate the account base to identify applications for Interact Analysis products and services.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive account/sales plans for each prospect.
  • Support leads for consulting-related requests/inquiries.

Sales Account Management

  • Deliver revenue growth for clients.
  • Work in conjunction with sales leadership and analysts to create sales goals and timelines for each account.
  • Schedule regular meetings to execute renewal process, presenting the existing & new report service status to the clients.
  • Handle client inquires in a timely manner and manage all issues/claims related to Interact Analysis reports.
  • Partner with cross-functional departments and teams to ensure success for the business.
  • Provide accurate and complete reports such as pipeline and forecast reports, as required, on a timely basis.
  • Work with the financial department to complete the sales cycle, including tracking and following up on account receivables.
  • Monitor the progress of deals or sales opportunities in CRM.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Experience in a service-oriented business and/or the market research industry preferred.
  • Strong presentation skills with a high comfort level presenting to larger groups and senior audiences.
  • Proven history of meeting and exceeding revenue goals.
  • Proven ability to provide timely and accurate sales forecasts on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis
  • CRM experience desirable
  • Strongly proficient in all MS Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
