BuyerExeterPermanentSphere Solutions have the privilege of working with a leading construction company in Exeter to recruit an experienced Buyer to join their team to work closely with the procurement and commercial team on construction projects across the South West.You will work closely with the Commercial Manager, taking responsibility for the procurement of all materials and plant. * Ensure the best price is sourced for materials and plant, in line with contract specification and site programme * You will manage supply chain agreements, site order lists and obtain competitive prices where agreed prices are not available to enable orders to be placed * Research/product information and alternative products * Site / measuring quantities of materials, reading drawingsPlease only apply if you have the following: * Suitable candidates must have buying experience within the construction industry * An understanding of commercial awareness and negotiation skills * Positive outlook and can-do attitude * Ability to work to deadlines * Good understanding of all MS packagesTo Apply:For an informal discussion please call Jo Lambert or apply as instructed.
