Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a *Female Only* Care Assistant to join a Local Council’s Rapid Response Care team in the Knowsley area on an ongoing contract.
They are looking for people who can work 5 days per week, on shifts of either earlies (08:00am-14:00pm) or lates (16:00pm-22:00pm), however are open to being flexible with this.
The successful candidate will provide a rapid response to service users in times of crisis, injury or illness to prevent hospital admission or facilitate hospital discharge.
You will support service users using an enabling approach to achieve the maximum possible independence for them in their daily lives.
Key Duties: * Assist the service user with their personal care, offer assistance and advice * Provide intervention and support following Care Line call request * Promote and support the use of Assistive Technology to maximise independence * Contribute to the development of person centre support plans, taking into consideration their needs and aspirations * Maintain accurate and appropriate records * Comply with risk assessment and actions identified to manage those risks and any newly identified risks to be recorded and reported to a manager * Work with other professionals to promote independence and assist in the achievement of service user outcomesRequirements: * Must have a full UK Drivers Licence and access to own vehicle * Have UK based care experience (at least 6 months) * Have an NVQ or equivalent in Health and Social Care, or similar (desirable) * The ability to work well both as a team and independentlyCompany benefits: * Great development opportunities * 24/7 Assistance * Free DBS Check and Mandatory Online Training Modules * Weekly payroll * Referral Benefit Scheme
