Key Criteria:

• A clear understanding in Customs Import & Export would assist. However, not exactly essential as all training would be provided.
• A basic knowledge in computers & IT skills necessary
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to in-house systems.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, especially during our peak operating window from 12:00 – 01:00 and weekends.
• Reasonable understanding of HMRC & Border Force operations, or the capability to learn.
• At least 1 year of experience leading a team and taking ownership of the processes involved.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the customs team to ensure efficient operations during our peak hours.
• Utilize and optimize in-house systems for seamless workflow and productivity.
• Maintain a high level of understanding or demonstrate the ability to learn HMRC & Border Force regulations, including CHIEF and CDS.
