Based in North Manchester, situated close to public transport hubs and motorway networks, Bury College attracts students from a wide geographical area including Bury, Rochdale, Bolton, Manchester, and Lancashire.

With a renewed Strategic Plan and significant capital investment taking place, Bury College is seeking an innovative, agile and intuitive Director of Human Resources to lead on the development and delivery of the HR strategy to ensure staff recruitment, retention, support and development are aligned with its strategic aims.

There is an experienced HR team in place that deals on a day-to-day basis with the full HR operational agenda. Reporting directly to the Principal & Chief Executive, the successful candidate will need to be comfortable in both the strategic and operational landscape, with the ability to adapt to the day-to-day challenges that come from working within the further education sector.
