Extrastaff are currently recruiting for a Factory Manager for a well-established company based in Watford. This is a great opportunity for someone to progress within a busy environment.The duties of the role will include:You are responsible for your own personal health and safety and for those around you and must comply with all Company H&S policies and adviceImplement and maintain industry-leading standards of Health & Safety for the Company in line with ISO45001 and stay up to date with all current legal requirements and industry best practiceEnsure customer orders are completed on time, to budget and to the right qualityEnsure lead-times are maintained at or better than Company targetsInvestigate product quality issues and implement corrective actionProvide technical support to the team and to all internal departments requiring it, ie estimatingMaintain optimal stock of all stocked product linesKey RequirementsConduct stock-takes in line with Company policy, both informal and formalMaintain safe methods of materials storageSelect, order and purchase materials for production and stock in line with purchasing policyMaintain a secure and clean working environment in all areas, i.e. production, welfare, officeManage and motivate the Operations teamIf interested, please call Jake at Extrastaff Northampton or click 'apply' for immediate consideration
