We are currently recruiting for a Finance Apprentice to support our continued growth. If you are hard-working, detail oriented individual with a good head for numbers and want to work in a busy, lively, but fun finance team; read on! Ideally you will be looking for your first step into finance and have some previous work experience in retail.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse daily bank transactions
- To reconcile & post Own Shops weekly banking and reconciliations
- Liaise with stores/tender providers to investigate any differences and escalate if need be
- To post remittance journals received from Host Stores
- Prepare and post monthly accruals and prepayment journals
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate reconciling differences
- Prepare landlord turnover certificates
- Various other ad-hoc duties within the finance department
Requirements:
- Motivated individual with good attention to detail
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with all levels within the business and external suppliers
