Head Of Dispute Resolution - Solicitor in Suffolk

My client is a well-established and highly respected law firm in Suffolk, providing a wide range of legal services to clients from across the region.

They are currently looking for a Head of Dispute Resolution to join their team and manage a busy department.

As Head of Dispute Resolution your key responsibilities will include:

• Sound experience of both commercial and property related litigation.
• A basic understanding of insolvency and security over business and property assets.
• Experience of Claimant professional negligence cases would be advantageous.
• Accustomed to dealing with the Business and Property Courts of the High Court and with the “CE File” on-line system.
• Experience of dealing with disputes for construction industry clients would be advantageous.
• Leading and developing the team to ensure they are providing the highest quality of service to clients;
• Providing advice and assistance to clients on a wide range of dispute resolution matters;
• Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients;
• Liaising with other departments to ensure a smooth and comprehensive service;
• Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Commercial Lawyer with a proven track record in dispute resolution.

You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work as part of a team.

You must also have a thorough understanding of the legal process and be confident in dealing with a wide variety of clients.
