Role Description

The role of HR Operations Manager at Allica Bank will be responsible for working across the HR function and with 3rd party providers to ensure we deliver a best in class HR service delivery.

As our HR Operations Manager you will be accountable for supporting the delivery of our people strategy through flawless execution and development of our people processes and systems. You will manage the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding having a significant impact on the experience Allica colleagues have.

The role will be varied with opportunity to get involved in both HR cycle activities and project work. The role will be hands on but you will have great opportunity to shape and influence how we deliver HR services to the business.

You will be able to demonstrate well-rounded risk management, mitigation, and problem-solving skills. Behaviorally you’ll be commercially astute, with the ability to demonstrate your ability to coach, challenge and influence a wide range of business stakeholders.

Principal Accountabilities

HR Process Management

  • Develop, implement and improve existing HR processes to improve efficiency and ensure they are fit to support Allica's continued growth
  • Support the full employee life cycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance management and offboarding
  • Ensure HR remain compliant with all relevant laws and regulations
  • Ensure employee records are maintained accurately in line with GDPR regulations

Reward

  • Support the Head of HR in developing a reward framework to support Allica’s growth
  • Support the Head of HR on the annual reward cycle – Bonus, Salary Review etc

Payroll & Benefits

  • Support our Payroll advisor with the running of payroll
  • Help to improve our payroll process through use of back practise and technology
  • Ensure payroll remains complaint in all markets in which we operate
  • Manage Allica’s benefits offering ensuring that we offer colleagues a best in class benefits

HR Systems

  • Manage Allica HRIS system ensuring that that they are fit for purpose, compliant and robust
  • Ensure our HR systems support wider business goals and integrate with wider business systems
  • Consistently look for improvements in the way HR uses technology to improve our efficiency and service to customers

HR Service Delivery

  • Manage, coach and develop the HR Service team ensuring best in class delivery
  • Support with colleague queries on all HR matters
  • Provide insightful data to the wider HR team and business to support performance improvement
  • Support the Head of HR with management of our 3rd party suppliers

Personal Attributes & Experience

  • Previous Banking/FS experience is desirable
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience in working with 3rd party suppliers such as outsourced HR services, payroll providers, recruitment agencies, benefit providers and LinkedIn
  • Commercial understanding of the business and how HR can support the requirements of stakeholders
  • Pragmatic, diplomatic, and a good team player
  • Expeirence of leadership and driving performance within a transactional, advisory or shared service environment and experience of a business facing role (Partnering)
  • Ability to influence at all levels.
  • Project management and in particular system implementation
  • Managing budgets
  • Ability to analyse information from a variety of sources and prioritise actions appropriately.
  • Knowledge of HR operations/ shared services environment, service systems & HR policies.
  • Expeirence of continuous improvement of HR process/policy/procedure
  • Ability to diagnose problems / issues & identify key solutions while remaining calm under pressure.
