Responsibilities

  • Analyze large, complex data sets that represent users’ behavior. See beyond the numbers and identify valuable business insights.
  • Design the economic aspect of the user’s experience - finely balance between challenge and success to increase overall engagement.
  • Identify different player segments per feature, and tailor the optimal experience for each.
  • Design A/B tests and quickly draw conclusions.
  • Price the game’s currencies and their conversion rates. This is a major responsibility!
  • Monitor for exploits and bugs in the economy.
  • Collaborate with product owners, marketing managers, UX/UI designers, analytics teams, data scientists, and development teams.
  • Build and analyze simulations and predictive models to proactively forecast the results of changes to content.

 

Requirements

  • 4+ years’ experience in game economy design
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a similar quantitative field
  • Strong SQL capabilities with experience in querying large, complex data sets
  • A methodological approach to data and the ability to present data clearly and efficiently to support business decisions.
  • Experience in BI tools and advanced knowledge of statistical tools.
  • A strong interest in games
