Job Summary:

As a Digital Learning Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational landscape of our organization.

Your expertise in a range of learning technologies and design principles will be essential in creating learning materials for our customers and people.

You will work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders to design, develop, and deliver learning solutions for a largely technical audience.

We are a growing team and a can-do attitude along with a willingness to roll sleeves up and get stuck in is essential.

 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate in the design and delivery of learning solutions using the Articulate 360 and Rise toolsets.
  • Produce high-quality video content tailored to learning objectives.
  • Utilise Adobe Creative Cloud Suite for graphic design and multimedia creation.
  • Engage in all stages of the learning process, from requirement capture, through design and development, to deployment on our Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Develop product learning materials that are informative, engaging, and tailored to technical audiences with artefacts that are suitable for digital and in-person delivery.
  • Adapt and contribute creatively to projects within the learning design and delivery spectrum.
  • Ensure all learning materials are up-to-date, relevant, and aligned with industry standards.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of content.
  • Create authentic and robust assessments to assure learning success.
  • Provide support to learners and the wider Learning team as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

 

Required:

  • Proven experience with Articulate 360 and Adobe Creative Cloud Suite.
  • Strong background in video production and graphic design for learning purposes.
  • Experience in learning design, particularly for technical and product-oriented audiences.
  • Ability to create learning artefacts for both digital and in-person learning delivery.
  • Strong understanding of assessment methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in an agile team and adapt to evolving project requirements.
  • Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Passionate about learning and staying updated with the latest trends in learning technologies.

 

Desirable (but beneficial) Skills:

  • Experience with other eLearning authoring tools.
  • Knowledge of learning management systems (LMS) and Learning administration.
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design models.
  • Experience delivering instructor-led learning.

 

Note: Due to the nature of work undertaken at SubSea Craft, the selected candidate must be capable of meeting the security requirements of the position, which would include as a minimum Existing right to live and work in the UK, Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), with Security Check likely for specific projects.
