The role…

Reporting to the Head of Services, the successful candidate will become a part of the Networking team. You will be joining a team that designs, builds and implements world leading solutions and also provides support to our Service Operations teams, in a level 3 support capacity.

This role is working 37.5 hours a week on a full time basis in our offices in Tewkesbury.

Typical Duties include:

· Design, build and integrate end-to-end remote and mobile secure communications systems

· Troubleshooting complex environments

· Liaising with internal and external stakeholders

· Testing and assessing technologies to enhance the security or capability of the environments

· Creating, verifying, and maintaining technical documentation

Required Skills:

· Experience in network/gateway environments

· Knowledge of the NCSC Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF) and securing networks based on requirements

· Proficiency with network technologies (data and voice): BGP, MPLS/VPLS, SIP, TLS, Network Management

· Hands on experience with Cisco and Juniper network devices

· A minimum of CCNA qualification

· Experience configuring secure protocols such as IPsec, SSH and SNMPv3.

Desirable but not essential skills:

· Experience in designing, building and providing third-line support for complex IP networks

· Experience in the creation of both high level and low level design

· CCNP qualification or the desire to achieve it.

· Experience with Cisco Expressway, Voice Gateways, and Unified Border Element.
