This Role:

The role of Partnerships Account Executive promises excitement and diversity, primarily focused on nurturing partnerships to boost sales through events and brand collaborations.

Reporting directly to Polly, our Senior Partnerships Manager, you'll be integral in fostering dynamic partnerships, always prioritising the business's growth and vision.

Your responsibilities include managing your own accounts, crafting pitches using our deck templates, and overseeing these relationships from inception to completion.

Additionally, you'll actively contribute to our social media channels, immersing yourself in the challenges and social issues our network encounters.

Leveraging our brand, you'll work towards amplifying awareness of pertinent issues and aiding the business's expansion, recognising our potential to effect positive change in these spheres.

We all have our job titles but ultimately we are a small team and describe ourselves as a short-notice, high-volume, problem-solving agency.

This role isn't for everyone so please ensure you want to work in a start-up environment - with complete transparency you will be the third full team member managing a large workload with high responsibility and high reward.

Main Responsibilities: 

  • Assist the Senior Partnerships Manager, Polly, to drive and manage events sales through accounts that you have developed - based on sales forecasts set by IYD Directors.
  • Pitching, introducing onboarding new clients, executing high-level projects and maintaining relationships.
  • Nourishing current relationships with clients we already work with.
  • Contribute to growing our social channels organically and authentically to help widen our network.
  • Attending important events, liaising with new and current clients
  • Setting up activations and ensuring our beauty kits are kept in perfect condition, creating inventories
  • Managing the team of freelance creatives involved in activations or social projects and staffing all events for all of your and Polly’s activations.
  • Creating mood boards and pitches for clients.
  • Research important social issues and educate and support our network through our social channels.
  • Provides information by collecting, analysing, and summarizing data and trends.
  • Business Development - Build relationships with clients and support projects whether this is charity work, panel talks, applying for business awards.

Requirements:

We’re looking for someone:

  • Based in London
  • Must have experience and contacts within beauty + events network
  • Must have talent contacts and be present and active in these circles
  • Extremely organised with a high level of detail
  • UK Driving Licence (not essential)
  • Be able to commute to our Shoreditch co-working space 3 times a week. We are Soho Works members and we vary between working in Soho, and Shoreditch. We like to switch it up! Our storage unit is in Old Street so we mainly base ourselves around Shoreditch/Old Street as you will need to visit the storage unit often for events
  • Sales experience, closing deals and business development 
  • Passionate about beauty, events + music
  • High interest and care in social issues
  • Interested in creating content for social and e-commerce platforms
  • Good understanding of Excel, Microsoft Office and Google Suite, Canva
  • Understanding of a start-up or knowledge of what it's like to work in one

Remuneration

  • Start date ASAP
  • Full time 
  • 42K OTE - Uncapped commission structure
  • 25 annual leave per year
  • Monday to Friday - 9.30am-6pm
  • Discretionary Annual Bonus based on performance objective
  • Salary review in 6-12m dependant on performance
