Please note travel around the UK is expected so a full UK driving licence is required.

The Role

In this fast-paced and hands on role you’ll be driving projects from concept to launch in line with the company’s business strategies in order to deliver an exciting new range of products. Working closely with the Food Development Manager you will support the direction of the range in terms of product, quality and technical requirements, to ensure you deliver on customer expectations.

You will work collaboratively with internal procurement, operation and marketing teams to actively seek out gaps in the competitive market, keeping up to date with key trends and ensuring launches are clearly understood and captured for both new products and existing lines. You will also work closely with key partners and suppliers, guaranteeing updates are relayed swiftly and in line with critical path timings.

The Person

We are looking for a bright and ambitious food science or culinary arts graduate who has previous experience working in a similar food development role, preferably in the Food to Go sector. You have a passion for food and are able to demonstrate a track record of managing multiple, complex projects to tight deadline and budgets. This is a creative role in a small and passionate team, so a passion for development, trends and innovation is key to success.

This is role that would suit an existing NPD Assistant or Technologist looking for that step up in responsibility. You must be happy to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in, have excellent presentation and project management skills, as well as having first class communication skills as you’ll be working with internal teams to drive projects forward.

So, if you are looking for a new challenge where you can develop your food career with a growing business, then apply now or give us a call on 0345 2600 737!
