Are you reliable and punctual?Our client is recruiting for a nursery Practitioner / Nursery Nurse for an independent Day Nursery located in East Croydon, just a minutes walk from Sandilands tram stop. We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic team players to join our lovely team.Responsibilities:- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the nursery- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum- Monitor and supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime- Assist with personal care tasks such as diaper changing and toilet training- Maintain a clean and organized nursery space- Communicate with parents regarding their child's progress and any concernsQualifications:- Level 2 or 3 in Early years, cache or equivalent- Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting- Knowledge of child development principles and practices- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written- Ability to work well in a team environment- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children- First Aid and CPR certification (preferred) * Level 2 Nursery Nurse - paying up to £25,000 * Level 3 Nursery Nurse - paying up to £25k £30k (depending on experience)Staff perks: Employee of the month gets vouchers Sick pay - 5 days annuallyApply today for more information and a confidential chat!
