Chase Taylor Recruitment are currently working with a UK leading extruder and distributor of UPVC profile to the windows and door industry.
They are looking to recruit a Quality Control Technician to join their quality department.
This role is there to ensure the continuous product produced, is meeting their high standards and meets customers’ expectations.
Our client has been successfully trading as an independent and family run business for over 40 years!
And are known for their state of the art machinery and customer satisfaction.
he role: * Work closely within the extrusion department and adjoining QC lab * Check product quality samples, dimensions, colour, shadow-graph, physical property inspections) * Maintenance of laboratory and test equipment * Arrange and manage BSI tests and with external labs * Control and adapt internal quality sheets * Accompany extrusion start-ups, material trials and tests the trials * Ensure that site health and safety requirements are and good working practices are always adhered to * Investigate faulty returns * Working hours are Monday to Thursday 7am to 4pm, Friday 7am to 1pmThe candidate: * Have current experience as a Quality Technician within a window and door fabricating/extrusion business * Good understanding of the polymer plastification process * Understanding of required quality tests for BSI standards * Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels * Strong attention to detail and able to manage own workloadIf you are an experience quality technician within the window and door industry and you want to find out more, please click ‘apply’ or contact Guy at Chase Taylor Recruitment and quote reference number MM3649
