HealthHarmonie is a fast paced, growing healthcare organisation that operates from various locations across England. Headquartered in Birmingham, we were established in 2003 and have been growing ever since, in the ever-changing healthcare industry, developing our presence across the UK.  

 

We work in partnership with a number of NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups nationwide to provide patients with access to community services closer to their home, these include Diagnostic Ultrasound, Gynaecology Services, diagnosis and treatment of Dermatological conditions, Ophthalmology services and the provision of extended Minor surgery procedures. 

About the role

As a Receptionist at HealthHarmonie, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our healthcare services. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting patients and visitors, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere
  • Responsible for keeping the reception area clean, organised, and well-maintained at all times
  • Accurately inputting patient details into the patient information system to maintain patient records
  • Assessing and prioritising patient referrals based on urgency and medical need
  • Contacting patients to schedule appointments
  • Scanning and attaching referrals to the patient's file for easy accessibility
  • Pre-packing of all clinical stock needs for week for collection and distribution
  • Setting up the examination rooms for clinicians

 Work Schedule and Location

  • The reception will need covering 7 days a week, we have flexible part time hours available for this position as this will be a job share between 2 people
  • 8-hour shifts will generally fall between 8:00am and 6pm
  • Base location: Highfield Road, Edgbaston, Birmingham

  • Before commencing your role, you must fulfil legal eligibility requirements to work with us, including a successful disclosure check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and the provision of your right to work documentation during the interview stage.
  • Your training will begin with a corporate induction followed by shadowing an experienced team member, ensuring you gain the necessary skills and knowledge for the role. Full attendance during the training period is essential.
