Registered Manager for 4 bed Childrens Home (EBD) Clacton Essex CO15We are looking for a Registered Children’s Home Manager to open an amazing new 4 bed Children’s Home supporting 8-18 year olds with EBD in Clacton EssexHours 37.5 hours per week –Salary £55k plus bonuses when home is open.Registered Children’s Home Manager will :-Register the home and bond strong relationships with Ofsted and authorities,organise all paperwork and documentation in order to reach the necessary stands and opening of the home.Manage the staff and resources of the Home, to provide a positive living experience for the resident young peopleOversee, on a day-to-day basis, the care, safety and development of all residents, alongside the management, development and co-ordination of the home and its outreach work.Ensure that the agreed plans at the Home are implementedMonitor and review the work practices of all staff in their day-to-day work with the young people, parents, Social Workers, other agencies and the public and those they encounter on outreach workAttend training opportunities, as requiredEnsuring that employees are aware of their responsibilities under the Health and Safety Act 1974, to carry out agreed safety procedures in maintaining a safe environment for all people involved in the companyRegistered Children’s Home Manager must have:-At least 2 years’ experience in operational & service at a residential settingExperience of working with children with ebd in a in a residential settingExperience of facilitating, organising and directing & developing teamsExperience of using childcare Standards & best practice model to guide decision makingExperience of translating policy into practiceKnowledge of Management theoriesManagement QualificationsManagement training & experienceChild related/Social care qualificationsKnowledge of Equal opportunities & diversity modelsUp to date knowledge of Childcare & Child Protection LawsBasic knowledge of ITNVQ 5 Leadership and managementFull knowledge of OFSTED requirementsSatisfactory DBS checkDo you meet the criteria above????Would you like to be considered for the role of Registered Children’s Home Manager?This is an excellent opportunity to work for an amazing organisation!For more information about this Registered Manager role contact Mick Hull Fieldview Care Recruitment Solutions
