Various exciting opportunities to join the Jacobs management Team at Warrington or Cumbria to make a difference in the industry.

The tasks and projects open are at various stages of the project lifecycle including scoping and planning, detailed design and execution support.

All work is delivered as part of a multidisciplinary team.

This role will be to support specific projects in the portfolio focussing on the front end of the project lifecycle in Scoping and Planning through to Detailed Design completion

To deliver the early phase scoping and planning and engineering design for a portfolio of Remediation Enabling Projects in accordance with Sellafield standards.

We are looking for experienced people that can, 

  • Delivery of concept design and detailed design phases of work
  • Managing a high number of client stakeholders for successful completion of design 
  • Maintaining communications with stakeholders as well as on-off site teams 
  • Working with engineering leads to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness to deliver in a timely manner fit for purpose and safe work 
  • Ensure that the project baseline costs are met or bettered 
  • Provision of weekly updates to enable effective progress monitoring and demonstrate value for money 
  • Subcontractor engagement 
  • Liaise with area engineering manager on task progress and requirements 
  • Ensure project documentation is up to date throughout the project

    Here's What You'll Need:

  •  You will have proven project management experience gained across a range of projects in a multi-disciplinary environment
  •  With a sound understanding of project management principles and application.
  • You will have proven experience in the application of project management processes to effectively manage cost, quality and time
  • A good understanding of current health, safety and welfare legislation
  • Able to operate autonomously, with authority, skilled in developing and building relationships
  • Proven ability of working under a range of contract forms
  • Engineering Degree or HNC with APM qualification desirable 
  • Due to the nature of work to be undertaken, applicants will be required to meet certain residency criteria in order to attain a minimum level of UK security clearance
